Mr. Law

Allan Law (Mr. Law), a retired Minneapolis school teacher, has fed and will continue to feed close to 2,000 people EVERY day of the year. These people are families, individuals, homeless men and women who live in shelters as well as people who live totally outdoors or are in crisis. Mr. Law is and always will be our inspiration behind this project. He has won several awards for his service to our community including the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Gold Medallion of Service.

While teaching in the Public Schools, Mr. Law identified a need for children of broken families.  Those children often were without an outlet to activities that most children take for granted.  For 30+ years, Mr. Law could be spotted at the local McDonald’s, movie theaters, Valleyfair, and Lake Minnetonka with large groups of children.  A non-profit called Minneapolis Recreation Development (MRD) was formed to ease the financial burden of his cause.  Today, 363′s sole purpose is to help him and his mission to help others in the Twin Cities.
